Special Enrollment Period for Consumers at or below 150% Federal Poverty Level (FPL)

There’s a new Special Enrollment Period (SEP) available to lower income individuals allowing them to enroll in Marketplace coverage any time, if eligible.  Consumers who qualify for this SEP may also qualify for more savings.  Individuals who have an estimated annual household income at or below 150% Federal Poverty Level in their state and are not eligible for Medicaid/CHIP may be eligible for this SEP.  The annual household income varies by state and household size.  Consumers will not be eligible to enroll through this Special Enrollment Period at Healthcare.gov until late March.
